The MainEvent Attendee book was traditionally
executed by third-party publishers or designers and it was a great opportunity
to bring the design in-house for the first time in 2004.
The previous attendee books had always lacked visual unity with the
rest of WF360's published materials so a major goal for 2004 was to
find a suitable balance between the original book design established
in previous years and the latest WF360 graphic elements I had developed.

The 2004 book was an ambitious publication
in comparison to previous editions. With nearly double the content for
the speaker profile pages over 2004's edition as well as a new WF360
brand/product spread, a lot of attention had to be paid to readability
within the 8"X10" page dimensions.
Most of the individual page graphics were accomplished in Adobe Illustrator
and then imported into Quark before being electronically sent to Moore
Printers in Virginia. Because of the extremely tight deadline on this
project I had to make sure everything in the digital files was perfect
to ensure nothing would go wrong in the full offset press run. Despite
all the fonts, graphics and photographs that were either embedded or
linked into the layout the final book was printed without a hitch and
turned out to be a great success.
