As Wf360's brand image matured throughout
2004 I felt it was important to redesign the Webcast Viewer interface
to bring the User Interface designs in sync with the rest of the corporate
visual identity.
I decided to go with a dark gray/black background instead of the original
white used in 2003 in order to place greater visual focus on the video
content and provide less "clutter" on screen. The darker color
scheme also had the benefit of matching the in-studio set designs darker
color palette.
To further streamline the interface I lessened the embossing effects for
the borders and buttons and utilized more compact arrangements for the
interaction controls.
The Arab-Western Summit Audiocast employed virtually the same interface
design as the Webcast viewer but used a completely different color palette
that reflected the custom colors chosen for the Summit website.
