Since 1993, Microsoft has hosted Tech•Ed, the premier educational event for developers and IT professionals. Attendees of the Tech•Ed conference learn about emerging technologies and software industry trends, and gain the latest insights on Microsoft application development. The Virtual Tech•Ed Website was one of the first Virtual event websites created for Microsoft to help provide an "in-the-moment" news and events reporting platform where conference videos and session updates could be posted on an hourly basis.

Although the website design was completed in a few short days given a tight deadline, I was able to include some expanded branding and layout elements that helped to organize the vast array of content types to be displayed on the home page. Negotiating the conversion of the flat graphics to the final "coded" pages with the development house was a challenge given the necessary turnaround speed but I felt the artwork made a successful transition and translation to the live site.
