As an Enterprise Software company, ProSight’s services and solutions were complex and challenging, explain in a short sales presentation engagement. To help compensate for the highly technical product “story”, many diagrams and graphics were employed throughout dozens of PPT slide decks for the sales teams to provide more engaging pitches to potential customers. Even though the graphics were meant to portray a simplified story, there was nevertheless an ongoing challenge to balance the marketing needs to describe a multi-step process with dozens of moving parts with the very real limitations of the canvas area of an 800 X 600 pixel slide.

The Vice President of Marketing and I often found the best solution was to create animated versions of the slides that helped to build a story framework and pace the presentation into steps rather than transmit all the information in a single view.
