For Web Art and Multimedia Design 1 I created a combined class website that shared the same design but split the syllabi and resources into two different sections. The design itself was inspired by my interest in incorporating graphic elements that combined naturalistic elements with digital typography. In retrospect I can see how this was an early precursor to the designs I have put into place for my latest portfolio site even though they are separated by almost 4 years of work.



These were the first classes that I incorporated quizzes and tests into my curriculum. The added incentive for students to take notes and verify what they should be picking up from the lectures seemed to work well and I have subsequently incorporated some form of written review in all of my classes.
