I created a small run of these "Platinum" edition DVD boxes
for a seasonal winter promotion of WF360's products. The inspiration
for the idea originated from several small metal cases that were being
sold as gift sets at local stores. When closed, the cases looked like
mini briefcases which I though was a great visual for the business leadership
content of the DVDs. I designed special inserts to hold the DVD tin
in place while in transport. The insides of the cases were hand-lined
in a dark blue velvet paper. I also redesigned the 2004 attendee booklet
for a miniature version and printed a small run on my Epson printer.
FedExKinko's handled the wire binding and plastic cover pages. I used
heat transfer metal foils for the globe and text on the attendee book
covers and for the graphic design that appeared on the mini briefcase
cover as well.
